A number of compositions have been created using mantroch technique as a starting point:

Orchestral:

Symphony Number 1 - follow the link for the score, some basic information and mp3 samples
Chamber Symphony - duration 17 minutes, chamber orchestra. Click on the title to download the score.
Miniature Symphony - chamber ensemble, dedicated to Bryson Davidson, Franklin TN. Click on the title to download the score as a pdf (300k) or here for an mp3.
Opera/Music Theatre:

New Deliverance - large-scale opera lasting 80 minutes for full orchestra
Cockroaches - 10 minute music theatre piece for chamber ensemble

Both based on text by S.I. Witkiewicz, 'Witkacy'.
Chamber music:

Audio Inversions - 10 piece chamber ensemble. Click on the title for an mp3
Auld Reekie's Lament - borderpipes and string quartet. Click here for a recording taken live at a concert (microphone could have been better placed and balance is a bit poor)..
Mantroch 1 - for string quartet
Beaver - song for harp and soprano

Both the string quartets were premiered by the Edinburgh Quartet

Mantroch is being developed and experimented with all the time and new 'filters' are being explored.

A number of other pieces have come into existence on the way to creating mantroch technique.

Suggestions and requests are very much wlecomed. Please email Lindsay Davidson. Likewise, if you would be interested in performing on of these pieces, please get in touch.
